ATEX Certifications in Pumps
Industrial pumps often operate in environments where flammable gases or dusts are present (e.g., hydrocarbons, alcohols, solvents, chemicals, flours, or sugars). Under these conditions, they can become a source of ignition due to: high surface temperatures, spark generation (due to friction or mechanical failure), and/or static electricity. Therefore, ATEX certification is required to ensure that this equipment is safe to operate in potentially explosive atmospheres.
